Job Overview
Immanuel Lutheran School is seeking a Cafeteria Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. This important role supports our daily lunch service and helps provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:00 AM - approx. 1:00 PM
- Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week
- Beginning in August
- Work Days: Only on full school days (no holidays, snow days, or summer work required)
- Free lunch on full days of school
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily food prep and lunch services
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and serving areas
- Help with clean-up after meals
- Monitor food inventory and assist with restocking supplies
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Friendly, dependable, and willing to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow directions and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Previous food service experience is a plus but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check
