Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, such as Clover, for retail sales transactions and food orders
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately while handling cash register operations
- Greet customers warmly, take food or retail orders efficiently, provide excellent service throughout their visit, and answer phone in orders
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including handling food safely and operating kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
- Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation standards and proper food handling protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Demonstrated ability in cashiering, retail sales transactions, or food service customer order management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Food industry experience including food preparation, serving, bussing, and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing retail math calculations
- Proven customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities
