Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests during the breakfast hours. This position requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Breakfast Attendant will ensure that the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and inviting while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food items and beverages.
- Ensure all food items are presented attractively and adhere to food safety standards.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections and provide recommendations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Monitor food inventory levels and replenish supplies as necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Provide excellent guest services, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.
Skills
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary background is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Familiarity with banquet service or catering operations is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience in cleaning, bussing, or host/host roles is beneficial.
- Skills in cooking, meal preparation, or barista duties are desirable.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and phone etiquette is important.
