The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance, execution, and leadership of the store. This role owns store-level results across sales, parts, service, inventory, customer experience, and financial performance.
The General Manager leads through clear expectations, strong leaders, and disciplined execution. In higher-volume stores, this role is supported by a Sales and Operations Manager and functional department leaders. The GM remains accountable for results while delegating day-to-day execution appropriately.
This role is designed for experienced operators who know how to run a business, develop leaders, and deliver consistent results.

Own storelevel revenue, gross profit, and controllable expense performance

Translate regional strategy into disciplined daily execution

Lead consistent operating rhythms including huddles, reporting, and performance reviews

Maintain visible leadership presence across sales and service operations

Build a culture of urgency, professionalism, and accountability
Sales, Parts, and Service Oversight

Drive coordinated execution across sales, parts, and service departments

Hold department leaders accountable to performance standards and KPIs

Monitor sales conversion, service throughput, and inventory discipline

Ensure clean handoffs between departments to maximize revenue capture

Remove operational bottlenecks that limit growth

Maintain strong command of the store P&L and performance metrics

Monitor revenue trends, gross margins, labor performance, and expenses

Ensure accurate inventory controls across trailers, parts, and service

Partner with regional leadership on budgeting and forecasting

Recruit, develop, and retain highperforming leaders and team members

Provide coaching, performance management, and succession planning

Build leadership depth to support continued market growth
Customer Experience and Community Presence

Ensure a consistent, professional customer experience across all touchpoints

Address escalated customer concerns and ensure appropriate resolution

Represent the store positively in the local market and community

Support local marketing efforts and partnerships in alignment with company strategy

Ensure store compliance with all safety, legal, and regulatory requirements

Maintain consistent opening, closing, and security procedures

Ensure systems, processes, and controls are followed accurately

Identify execution gaps and implement corrective actions

Five or more years of leadership experience in retail, dealership, or multidepartment operations

Prior experience in trailers, automotive, RV, equipment, or similar industries preferred

Proven ability to manage revenue, expenses, and operational performance

Strong people leadership and accountability skills

Comfortable reading and managing P&L statements

Ability to lead in a fastpaced, performancedriven environment
