American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position requiring Level II Trauma experience and Epic proficiency, with an active OR RN license required.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a community hospital setting

Level II Trauma facility

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

Patient ratio of 1:3
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating required within scope to Med/Tele, PCU, and ED Boarding units

Epic EMR experience required
-
13-week contract
-
Active Oregon (OR) RN license required — pending licenses not accepted
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
-
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
-
Level II Trauma experience required
-
Epic EMR proficiency required
-
Proficiency in IV therapy, phlebotomy, central/PICC line management, and blood product administration
-
Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and cardiac drip titration
-
Experience with neurological conditions including CVA, TBI, intracranial bleeds, and post-TPA care
-
Experience with respiratory management including BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy care, and ABG interpretation
-
Two professional references from supervisory positions held within the past year required for consideration — at least one must be from a manager, and no references may be pending

Proof of address required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted

RTO is capped at a maximum of 7 days for the duration of the 13-week assignment

All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
