POSITION: TOOL & DIE LEVEL 2-3
DEPARTMENT: Engineering & Tool Room
POSITION SUMMARY:
Safety is held to the highest regard. Adherence to the company health and safety procedures as they relate to the essential job functions. Tool & Die is responsible for a wide variety of set-up and operation of machine tools common to a tool room, production and plant equipment environments.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Tool & Die experience or equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- Experience repairing and troubleshooting production dies and tooling
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience operating manual machining equipment
- Strong understanding of machining practices, cutting tools, feeds, and speeds
- Proficient with precision measuring equipment including micrometers and calipers
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical school or Tool & Die apprenticeship
- Forklift certification
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, kneel, and climb
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Safely operate machinery and power tools

Pay: $32.80 - $40.00 per hour
