Dardano's: Sales Manager

Reports To: Store Manager
Position Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for helping lead the sales floor and elevate the customer experience at Dardano’s Shoes. This role is focused on sales-floor execution, service standards, team development, and customer engagement. The Sales Manager works closely with the Store Manager to strengthen the leadership bench, improve selling consistency, and help drive a high-performance retail culture.
This role is ideal for a leader who is especially strong in customer service, floor coaching, team energy, and sales development, and who takes pride in creating an elevated in-store experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the sales floor day-to-day with a strong and visible presence
- Coach sales associates in real time on customer engagement, fit guidance, add-on selling, and service standards
- Help improve average ticket, units per transaction, add-on sales, and overall sales quality
- Reinforce a consistent and elevated customer experience across all selling interactions
- Support onboarding and training of new sales associates, especially around product knowledge, service expectations, and selling process
- Help identify strengths and opportunities within the sales team and provide direct coaching and follow-up
- Partner with the Store Manager to build a high-accountability, high-performance sales culture
- Support merchandising and floor presentation with a strong eye for customer flow, product presentation, and selling opportunities
- Help create energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm within the store environment

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
