Tri State Signs & Awnings is a growing custom sign manufacturer specializing in channel letters, illuminated signs, awnings, CNC-routed signs, dimensional lettering, vinyl graphics, and large-format printing. We are looking for a motivated Production & Print Technician to take ownership of our print room and assist with all aspects of sign production.
Responsibilities
- Prepare production-ready artwork for manufacturing.
- Operate large-format printers, laminators, and vinyl plotters.
- Create and edit production files using Flexi Design.
- Prepare CNC router files using EnRoute and VCarve.
- Prepare files for an automatic channel letter bender.
- Produce files for channel letter trim.
- Print, laminate, weed, mask, and finish vinyl graphics.
- Cut and prepare acrylic, PVC, ACM, aluminum, and other sign materials.
- Assist with light graphic design and artwork modifications when needed.
- Perform quality control before jobs move into fabrication or installation.
- Maintain an organized and efficient production area.
- Help maintain production equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Work closely with project managers and installers to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a commercial sign shop.
- Proficiency with Flexi Design.
- Experience using EnRoute and/or VCarve for CNC router file preparation.
- Experience operating CNC routers.
- Experience preparing files for channel letter benders.
- Experience with large-format printers, laminators, and vinyl plotters.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sign fabrication methods and production workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.

- English required; Spanish is a plus.
Compensation
- Full-time position.
