Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support their Chief Development Officer on a temporary basis through the end of the year in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Provide executive and administrative support to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and Office of the Chief Development Officer (OCDO)
- Manage a complex calendar, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and arrange domestic and international travel
- Track action items, support team meetings and events, and manage shared office resources
- Coordinate donor and prospect meeting logistics, donor correspondence, gift acknowledgments, and stewardship activities
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records and support fundraising operations
- Draft routine correspondence, support internal communications, and assist with special projects
- Process expense reports, invoices, vendor coordination, and budget tracking
About You:
- 5+ years of executive assistant experience supporting C-suite leadership, preferably in a nonprofit environment
- Proven experience managing complex calendars and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred
- Experience with fundraising operations preferred
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential information
- Experience with Slack or similar communication platforms
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite per week
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
