Position Summary:
We are hiring a dependable Truck Driver & Warehouse Associate to support daily delivery routes and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role combining safe driving and accurate order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment as well as light clerical duties process vendor warranties with basic computer knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company box trucks and make local delivery/pick-up routes
- Load and unload HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies (manual lifting and use of forklifts/pallet jacks)
- Verify, stage, and pick customer orders accurately
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse and vehicle
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment
- Provide professional customer service to contractors and customers at delivery sites
- Follow OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- 1+ year driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Warehouse experience, including forklift operation (certification a plus)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work early mornings and occasional overtime as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Background check and drug screen required
