Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components
- Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters
- Conduct electrical diagnostics on low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify component specifications and alignments
- Repair or replace mechanical parts using welding ( welding if applicable), tools, and equipment to restore functionality
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation components
- Support field service operations by providing technical assistance on-site at various manufacturing facilities or customer locations
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, including proper handling of electrical systems and high-voltage equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial mechanic roles within manufacturing facilities or similar environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, and schematics reading
- Hands-on experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, industrial electrician practices, and low/high voltage electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately for troubleshooting and repairs
- Skilled in welding techniques relevant to industrial applications ( welding if applicable)
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical diagnostics, and engineering troubleshooting methods
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation when working with internal teams or external clients
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively
- Strong field service capabilities with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance best practices in manufacturing settings; military background is a plus but not required
