HOTWORX is a 24-hour infrared fitness studio offering members a unique blend of heat, exercise, and cutting-edge technology. With virtual instructors and a variety of isometric and high-intensity workouts, HOTWORX provides a one-of-a-kind fitness experience. This will be our second HOTWORX studio, allowing us to build on the success and proven operations of our first location in Charlotte, NC. We are excited to bring this innovative concept to the north Fort Mill, SC community with a brand-new studio opening this year.
Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, energetic, and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead the Pre-Sale (pre-opening), Launch, and daily operations (once opened) of our new HOTWORX studio. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about fitness, sales, and team development. The General Manager will be responsible for building a strong membership base, managing staff, delivering an exceptional member experience, and creating a tight-knit community of “infrared warriors” who will proudly call our studio their gym home.
Studio Staffed Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- (Studio remains accessible to members 24/7 outside of staffed hours.)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of studio operations, including pre-sale, grand opening, and ongoing performance
- Drive membership sales through community outreach, marketing initiatives, and lead generation
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team
- Create a positive, motivating studio culture for both staff and members
- Build and nurture a strong, engaged fitness community within the North Fort Mill area
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Ensure the studio maintains high standards of cleanliness, organization, and brand consistency
- Develop relationships with local businesses and community partners
- Handle member inquiries, concerns, and retention efforts
Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience (fitness, retail, or hospitality preferred)
- Strong sales background with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals
- Passion for health, fitness, and wellness
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results
- Comfortable with technology and social media platforms
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
