As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent patient care and assisting healthcare professionals with a variety of clinical and administrative duties. Duties:
- Perform basic medical procedures, including taking vital signs, collecting patient medical history, and preparing patients for examinations
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments
- Administer medications under the supervision of a healthcare provider
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and perform phlebotomy as needed
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, filing documents, and managing office inventory
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate compassionately with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) procedures
