FASTECH is seeking an Engineering/Estimator to develop project estimates and engineering deliverables for fueling station and energy-infrastructure construction. You'll turn plans and RFQs into accurate, competitive bids and support design through the EPC lifecycle. This is a full-time position within our Construction department and located in our Fountain Valley, CA office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare detailed cost estimates from drawings, specs, and site conditions across labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit level subcontractor and vendor quotes.
- Support engineering and design: review plans, develop scopes of work, and coordinate permit code requirements.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on bid strategy, value engineering, and handoff to construction.
- Maintain estimating templates, historical cost data, and vendor pricing.
- Assist with submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years estimating and/or engineering in commercial construction; fueling energy-infrastructure experience preferred.
- Strong takeoff and estimating skills; proficiency with estimating software and Excel.
- Ability to read civil, mechanical, and electrical construction drawings.
- Knowledge of fueling systems, UST/AST, and site construction scope.
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED
- EIT/PE track; experience with hydrogen, CNG, or EV infrastructure; Procore Bluebeam.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
