TempExperts is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator II for a hybrid opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering accurate, timely payroll while maintaining compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule by following established payroll procedures and company guidelines.
- Review payroll data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve routine payroll issues independently using established processes.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure proper documentation of payroll transactions.
- Prioritize workload effectively to meet payroll deadlines and service expectations.
- Utilize payroll software to process employee earnings, deductions, taxes, and other payroll-related transactions.
- Ensure payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related questions and discrepancies.
- Communicate payroll information clearly and professionally with employees and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits, reconciliations, and special projects as assigned.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee payroll and personal information.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance payroll processes and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of payroll processing or payroll administration experience.
- Experience using payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical payroll deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technologies.
- Hybrid work schedule with one remote day each week.
