We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, enjoys educating patients, and works well in a team-oriented office.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
- Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal charting
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral images
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Administer local anesthesia as permitted by state regulations
- Assist the dentist with examinations and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software
- Follow OSHA, CDC, and infection control guidelines
- Provide outstanding patient care with a friendly and professional attitude
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) licensed in Virginia
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with digital X-rays and dental software preferred
