About the Opportunity
We are seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Order Selectors to join a fast-paced grocery distribution operation in Wells, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy active work environments, consistent schedules, and the potential to transition into a full-time permanent position.
Employees will work in a refrigerated warehouse environment, selecting and palletizing grocery products using voice-directed technology and electric pallet jacks.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Days Off: Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday
- Schedules are fixed and do not rotate
- Optional overtime available
- Weekly start dates available
Responsibilities
- Accurately select grocery products using a voice-directed picking system
- Operate ride-on and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Build and palletize customer orders according to established standards
- Verify product quantities and order accuracy
- Load and transport products throughout the warehouse
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines
- Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to:
- Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 60 pounds
- Lift products to shoulder height and overhead when required
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift
- Work in a refrigerated warehouse environment maintained between 34°F and 37°F
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, order selecting, distribution, or pallet jack experience preferred
- Ability to obtain authorization to operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
- Comfortable working in cold temperatures throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to pass required pre-employment screening requirements

Additional Information
- Facility tours will be conducted prior to start and are required for consideration
- Hiring decisions will be made based on qualifications and experience
