Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Job Type: Contract (2 Months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 37.5 Hours/Week
Available Shifts:
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking two dedicated Mammography Technologists to support a busy imaging department providing essential screening and diagnostic breast imaging services. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule and the chance to work in a collaborative patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
- Position patients accurately and utilize proper compression techniques
- Select appropriate exposure factors to obtain high-quality images
- Evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic acceptability
- Ensure all images are properly labeled according to department standards
- Utilize EPIC and IDX systems for documentation and workflow management
- Transmit images to PACS accurately and efficiently
- Maintain patient tracking information and examination records
- Support efficient patient flow while delivering exceptional patient care
- Follow all department, safety, and quality assurance protocols
Requirements:
- Valid New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography
- Active ARRT Certification
- Compliance with all MQSA requirements
- Experience with EPIC and IDX systems required
- Strong mammography positioning and imaging skills
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and workflow management abilities
- Commitment to quality patient care and imaging excellence
