Overview
EF Management is seeking a dependable and hardworking Property Porter & Groundskeeper to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal of our multifamily apartment communities. In this role, you'll be responsible for keeping both interior common areas and exterior grounds clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.
This is a full-time, year-round W2 position with a consistent 40-hour work week. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and wants a stable, long-term career with a growing company..
Duties
- Clean and maintain hallways, lobbies, stairwells, laundry rooms, and other shared interior spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize common areas on a routine schedule
- Empty trash receptacles and maintain clean, organized trash and dumpster areas
- Clean interior windows, doors, light fixtures, and other common area surfaces
- Pick up litter and debris throughout property grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, and walkways
- Sweep and pressure wash sidewalks, breezeways, entryways, and other exterior common areas as needed
- Perform basic landscaping duties including weeding, light trimming, watering, leaf removal, and general grounds upkeep
- Maintain attractive curb appeal and ensure all exterior areas remain clean and presentable
- Assist with seasonal property maintenance, including snow and ice treatment when necessary
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or property damage to management
- Travel between properties as needed to support property operations
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team and overall property operations
Experience
- Previous janitorial, custodial, porter, groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, professional-looking communities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for travel between properties

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
