Role Summary As a Furniture & Appliance Delivery and Installation Professional, you will be the face of our company. You'll drive local delivery routes, safely handle high-quality furniture and appliances, and execute professional home installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Transport & Delivery: Load, transport, and unload furniture, bedding, and electric household appliances (refrigerators, electric washers/dryers, electric ranges) using proper equipment (dollies, straps, ramps).
- Assembly & Installation: Assemble furniture and set up electric appliances according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, courteous white-glove service in customer homes. Walk customers through basic operations and ensure complete satisfaction before leaving.
- Home Protection: Safely maneuver products through tight spaces using protective pads, runners, and corner guards to ensure zero damage to customer property or products.
- Inspections & Testing: Inspect items prior to loading and test installed appliances to verify proper function before job completion.
- Vehicle & Inventory Management: Conduct pre-trip vehicle safety inspections, maintain a clean delivery truck, and accurately account for daily inventory and paperwork via mobile app.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (CDL not required, but experience driving 16–26ft box trucks is a plus).
- Must be at least 21 years old (for insurance purposes).
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy items (100+ lbs) regularly with assistance or proper equipment.
- Proficiency with basic hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, levels).
- Excellent communication, punctuality, and customer service skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
