Purpose: It is the District Sales Manager's responsibility to provide support and assistance to Sakai Dealers and Dealer personnel in an efficient, timely and professional manner. The duties include, but are not limited to, support for all aspects of the business relationship between Sakai and the Sakai Dealers.
Job Accountabilities:
Monitor and report on market share numbers in assigned territory for both wholesale and retail shipments.
Preparation and submittal of price and delivery quotations for immediate and future sales.
Submit any and all special pricing, terms, financing and delivery requirements to management for pre approval.
Compilation of sales training material in conjunction with Sales Manager and Product Support Group.
Conduct effective sales training sessions for dealer personnel on a scheduled basis.
Participate in machine demonstrations.
Provide compaction expertise to end users, dealers sales personnel and Sakai management.
Compile and report pricing information for competitors.
Provide dealers with wholesale and retail finance plans per Sakai programs.
Provide dealers with current Sakai machine availability.
Participate in local, regional and national events related to the business.
Visit dealers on a scheduled, agreed time line.
Make customer calls with dealer sales and management personnel as required.
Travel to customer sites to assist with the installation and problem resolution as it pertains to vibratory and compaction machines.
Assist and make suggestions to the Sakai President regarding needed advertising for the dealers.
Assist dealers with utilizing available advertising co-op money.
Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years sales experience. Heavy equipment construction sales a plus. Excellent communication skills a must. Must be willing to travel extensively.

Pay: $51,754.89 - $62,328.46 per year
