In this role, you will be the face of our Quick Lane operation—welcoming guests, diagnosing their basic maintenance needs (tires, brakes, oil changes, fluids), and ensuring they leave with a smile. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Greet Customers: Warmly welcome guests as they arrive and assist them with their routine maintenance needs.
- Consult & Advise: Perform vehicle walk-arounds, review inspection reports from technicians, and clearly explain maintenance recommendations to customers.
- Provide Estimates: Create accurate cost estimates for parts and labor, and clearly communicate timelines.
- Manage Repair Orders: Open, track, and close repair orders while keeping customers updated on their vehicle’s status.
- Promote Safety & Performance: Educate customers on the importance of routine maintenance, including tire safety, fluid flushes, and brake health.
- Ensure Satisfaction: Deliver an exceptional guest experience to maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or in a retail customer service/sales role is highly preferred (Dealership or Quick Lube experience a plus!).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms simply.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to learn and navigate service writing software and point-of-sale systems.
- Drive: A positive attitude, strong multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Requirements: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
