Serra Toyota is looking for an experienced Parts Director / Parts Manager to join our growing team.
As our dealership continues to grow and undergo exciting renovations, we are looking for a motivated leader who understands the importance of a strong Parts Department. The right candidate will have a strong automotive background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to keep parts moving so our technicians and customers are not waiting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department.
- Maintain accurate and properly stocked parts inventory.
- Order and source parts quickly, with a strong focus on same-day availability.
- Work closely with the Service Department to ensure technicians have the correct parts when needed.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and minimize obsolete and unnecessary inventory.
- Process parts returns accurately and efficiently.
- Manage special-order parts and ensure timely follow-up.
- Receive, inspect, organize, and properly store incoming parts.
- Maintain accurate parts pricing, inventory records, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Toyota and parts vendors.
- Communicate effectively with the Service, Sales, Parts, and Body Shop departments.
- Utilize dealership management systems and Microsoft Teams effectively.
- Monitor department performance, inventory, and profitability.
- Train, motivate, and hold Parts Department employees accountable.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Parts Department.
- Follow Toyota and dealership processes and procedures.
- Complete required Toyota manufacturer training and certification programs.
- Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
- Help create a culture of urgency, teamwork, accountability, and customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous Parts Manager or Parts Director experience preferred.
- Automotive dealership Parts Department experience strongly preferred.
- Toyota dealership experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and dealership parts operations.
- Understanding of parts inventory management, ordering, receiving, and returns.
- Ability to source parts quickly and efficiently.
- Strong sense of urgency and a “get it done” attitude.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong computer, phone, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
