American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient EP RN for an ambulatory cardiology clinic, requiring 1 year of experience and a CA RN license.
-
Patient EP RN role within an ambulatory cardiology office
-
Supports the EP Device Division, utilizing MURJ for remote reports and alerts
-
Assists back office Medical Assistant team with higher-level patient advice requests
-
Triages urgent patient symptoms and supervises stress tests
-
Cares for adult cardiac patients only, including consults and follow-ups
-
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
-
No weekend or on-call requirements
-
No floating between units required
-
Active CA RN license required, in hand at time of submission

BLS certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience required
-
EP RN experience and device management experience highly preferred
-
Cardiology experience required
-
Epic charting system experience required
-
Skilled in Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Cardioversion, and IV therapy (starting and maintaining IVs)
-
Knowledge of antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, dobutamine, and emergency medications required

Radiation and laser safety knowledge preferred

Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Provide clinical support within the EP Device Division and assist with patient triage and stress test supervision

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Radius rule of 50 miles applies for local candidate consideration

Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
