True Compassion Urgent Care is a walk-in clinic in Stuart. We see real patients, run real labs, and do real procedures, all day. It's a small team and everybody carries weight.
We're looking for a Medical Assistant who already knows their way around a clinical floor. You'll be moving — intake and vitals, phlebotomy and specimen handling, EKGs, rapid tests and urinalysis, rooming patients, setting up for procedures and wound care, and getting it all charted before you go home.
Full-time. Weekends and some evening shifts are part of the schedule.
Urgent care doesn't run like a specialty office. The board changes every twenty minutes, the complaint can be anything, and you have to keep your head. If that sounds good to you, you'll do well here. If you want a quiet clinic with the same twelve patients, this isn't it.
What we're looking for:
- MA experience in urgent care, primary care, or a similar clinical setting
- Solid phlebotomy — you can get a hard stick without three tries
- Comfortable with EKG, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection
- Current CPR/BLS
- Available weekends and some evenings
