American Traveler is seeking an experienced Float Pool RN - Telemetry for a 13-week assignment requiring active MA licensure, AHA-only certifications, and a willingness to float across 8 units in an acute care hospital setting.

Float Pool position requiring rotation across 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units (Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow)

Patient population includes ED border patients, patients in an acute mental health unit (medication nurse role), and non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients

Patient ratios: up to 5:1 on Days and Evenings, up to 6:1 on Nights

371-bed hospital with individual units ranging from 8 to 41 beds
-
Schedule is Days/Evenings rotating with 1 to 3 Night rotations per contract, working every other weekend (EOW), 36 hours per week

EMR: Epic (charting experience required)

Free on-site parking available

Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted

Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required (AHA only; no other providers accepted)

Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience in a single location required

Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience required

Telemetry skills required, including measuring intervals and interpreting tele strips every 4 hours

Experience with cardiac drips and TR Band required

2 references required for consideration

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Responsible for cardiac monitoring, administering cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips throughout the shift

Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos

Local candidates are welcome; candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local
