Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate operations
- Oversee inventory control procedures using Sage MAS 100 Inventory Management
- Coordinate logistics for warehouse distribution, collaborating with 3PL providers and internal departments to optimize delivery schedules and reduce lead times
- Implement process improvements related to warehouse workflows, safety protocols and overall operational efficiency
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely for heavy lifting and materials handling tasks while adhering to safety regulations
- Conduct regular audits of shipping & receiving activities, inventory accuracy, and materials handling practices to uphold quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a fast-paced distribution environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, logistics, and warehouse management systems (WMS) including Sage MAS 100
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation and mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment
- Familiarity with best practices for warehouse safety protocols
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy in warehouse operations
- Experience working within B2B warehouse environments is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving procedures
