Lighted Window Early Learning Center is a nurturing, play-based, and inclusive early childhood education center, committed to providing high-quality care and developmental support for infants. We’re looking for a dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team and help create a safe, loving, and engaging environment for children aged 18-30 months.
Summary
As a teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a warm and nurturing environment for young learners. Your contributions will help shape their early educational experiences and support their growth and development.
Responsibilities (Just a few)
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Foster meaningful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support each child's development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum and share best practices.
- Ensure all practices comply with California Community Care Licensing regulations
- Understanding of 18-30 mo. development
- Must be able to sit, stand, chase, interact, and be actively involved with the children
- Positive energy (need a lot of energy with this age)
Requirements
- 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required, with at least 3 units in Infant/Toddler Development
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed child care setting
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must meet all California Community Care Licensing requirements, including, but not limited to:
- Live Scan fingerprint clearance
- Health screening and a current negative TB test
- Mandated Reporter training
- Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification

- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
