Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team, specializing in landscape maintenance. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment including mowers, power tools, and chainsaws, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, fertilizing, and watering to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping projects while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or materials during groundskeeping activities.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all groundskeeping equipment through regular inspection and preventive maintenance.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, and horticulture principles.
- Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment safely.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent skills in gardening, lawn care, landscaping, and general grounds maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles or similar transport equipment.
