At Nuance Health and Wellness Medspa, we are expanding our clinical team to offer comprehensive preventative wellness services. We are seeking a dedicated, forward-thinking Family Nurse Practitioner who possesses a strong foundation in family medicine but views patient care through an integrative, holistic lens.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive acute, chronic, and preventative family medicine care to patients, blending standard clinical evidence with integrative treatments.
- Conduct detailed wellness evaluations focusing on lifestyle modifications, clinical nutrition, and metabolic health.
- Utilize both conventional lab testing and specialized functional/integrative diagnostics to identify underlying markers of inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, and metabolic dysfunction.
- Develop personalized care plans that utilize conventional pharmaceuticals when necessary, seamlessly integrated with evidence-based supplements, weight management support, and lifestyle medicine.
- Administer and oversee clinical wellness protocols, including customized IV therapy, vitamin injections, and cellular vitality treatments.
- Work closely with our clinical and aesthetic team to ensure a seamless, high-end, and comprehensive patient experience.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories across diverse populations.
- Perform procedures including IV infusions, injections, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and adherence to sterile techniques.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Dr. Chronos for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
Experience
- Valid Family Nurse Practitioner certification with current licensure in the practicing state.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Dr. Chronos for efficient documentation and case management.
- Hands-on experience performing procedures like Phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, Injections, and IV therapy.
- Background working in a Wellness/Holistic setting and comfortable conducting Wellness and Weight loss consultations is a plus.
- Knowledge of CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10 for accurate billing and documentation purposes.
- Familiarity with anesthetic procedures like dermal fillers or Botox treatments is a plus.
- Strong understanding of physiology principles related to patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation.
