Receiving PT Lead
Role Profile
Position Summary:
The Receiving PT Lead is a non-exempt, part-time position at our main store that reports to the Manager, Product Flow & Inventory. This role is responsible for supporting receiving inbound product, processing, and accurate and efficient placement while meeting productivity standards and supporting inventory accuracy. The role supports the organization and integrity of the receiving and stockroom areas, maintains the WMS (Shiphawk) and other inventory systems, and communicates inventory discrepancies for resolution. The Receiving Lead is expected to uphold customer service commitments, mentor and coach sales associates, and maintain a close partnership with the Receiving Senior Lead and Manager, Product Flow & Inventory.

Key Accountabilities & Achievements:
- Receiving Execution
- Supports the timely and accurate processing of inbound product. Ensures shipments are received, sorted, and processed according to company standards and daily priorities, while driving UPH to meet or exceed established expectations.
- Inventory Accuracy
- Supports inventory accuracy by ensuring product is received correctly into systems and discrepancies are identified and communicated for resolution.
- Stockroom Organization
- Supports organization of receiving and stockroom areas, including maintenance of the WMS (ShipHawk) and other back-of-house inventory systems. Ensures spaces are clean, safe, and structured to support efficient product flow.
- Product Flow Support
- Supports product flow by ensuring product moves efficiently from receiving to the appropriate areas of the business, maintaining readiness for the sales floor and operations.
- Coach and develop team members
- Empower team members to take ownership of their roles by delegating tasks, following up, and providing constructive feedback to ensure success of the individual, team, and department.
Knowledge, Abilities & Experience for Success:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Sales associate experience required.
- Communicate with internal and external partners.
- Lead, or similar role, experience (preferred).
- Technology experience: POS system and Warehouse Management System preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to move about and ascend/descend stairs, ramps, and ladders.
- Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (able to identify and distinguish colors).
- Continuous standing, walking, using stairs, hearing, speaking, bending, crouching, and working in close proximity with others.
Work Environment:
- Ability to work a varying retail schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and game days.
- Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor retail setting with adequate ventilation.
- Moderate noise (examples: customer and employee conversation, store music, light traffic).
