Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha or Micros, and assist with upselling to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines and ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed.
- Restock supplies, organize ingredients, and keep the workspace tidy to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu options and accommodating special dietary needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or retail food environments is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak times.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
