Join our vibrant team as a Nail Technician and bring beauty and confidence to our clients through expert nail care and artistry.
In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional manicure and pedicure services, including gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and nail art, while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional salon environment.
We understand that every technician may have different areas of experience. Training is available for services and techniques you may not yet know how to provide, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills and continue growing professionally.
This is a commission-based position with opportunities for continued growth. We also provide online booking with your own dedicated technician profile, making it easy for clients to view your services, availability, reviews, and book appointments directly with you.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, nail extensions, and nail art with precision and creativity. Training is available for techniques or services you have not yet mastered.
- Apply color theory principles to create custom nail art designs that match client preferences and current trends.
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by following proper sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive and satisfying salon experience.
- Recommend and upsell retail products related to nail care and beauty treatments when appropriate to enhance client results and satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workspace that complies with applicable health and sanitation regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and help create a welcoming, professional experience for every client.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, including manicures, pedicures, acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, nail art, and proper sanitation procedures. Training is available for additional techniques and services you may not yet have experience providing.
- Familiarity with color theory and nail art design to create visually appealing and customized looks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to conduct client consultations and recommend appropriate services or products.
- Knowledge of salon safety, sanitation, and disinfection procedures is essential.
- Ability to perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or threading is a plus, but is not required.
- Retail sales experience and the ability to recommend appropriate nail-care products is a plus.
