Under direct supervision, is responsible for timely reconciliation of deposits to cash posted in the practice management system, balancing, and maintaining the Clearing Account. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring payments received compared to OCSRI contracts, identifying and under or overpayments. Regularly generates rereports of reimbursement findings as outlined by the Revenue Cycle management. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or Healthcare related discipline preferred. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a medical business office setting with coding experience or A/R experience. Most recent position must have been in a medical business office for 3-5 years with direct reimbursement focus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be able to prioritize duties and manage time in such a way as to successfully complete responsibilities as well as others, as assigned. Communication skills written and verbal. Excellent customer service and high level of courtesy and professionalism required.
