Marketing Manager
Overview
Lead and drive the company’s marketing strategy as a Marketing Manager, playing a key role in revenue growth and brand positioning. This role goes beyond execution—you will own the planning, direction, and performance of all marketing initiatives across channels. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership, oversee content and campaigns, and ensure marketing efforts translate into measurable business results.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with company growth goals
- Build annual and quarterly marketing plans, including campaigns, budgets, and key initiatives
- Identify target markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities within the construction industry
- Partner with the Sales Manager and leadership team to align marketing with revenue objectives
Campaign & Lead Generation
- Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive leads and sales
- Oversee digital marketing efforts including website, SEO, email campaigns, etc..
- Ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified leads supporting the sales team
- Evaluate and improve campaign performance using data and analytics
Brand & Content Management
- Own and maintain brand consistency across all channels
- Oversee creation of marketing materials including brochures, catalogs, and sales tools
- Direct content strategy including blog posts, customer guides, newsletters, and project showcases
- Manage photography and video initiatives to highlight completed buildings and projects which would include occasional travel to sites.
Team & Vendor Coordination
- Lead and coordinate internal and external marketing resources (designers, agencies, etc.)
- Set priorities and manage workflow for marketing projects and campaigns
- Provide clear direction on content, messaging, and campaign execution
Events & Promotions
- Oversee coordination of trade shows and customer-focused events which would include occasional travel
- Ensure events support branding, lead generation, and business development goals
- Manage ordering and distribution of company swag and employee uniforms
Financial Oversight & Reporting
- Manage the marketing budget and track return on investment (ROI)
- Monitor key performance metrics (leads, conversion rates, campaign effectiveness)
- Report marketing results and insights to leadership on a quarterly and annual basis
Additional Responsibilities
Experience
Required
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Advanced computer skills and familiarity with marketing tools/platforms
- Valid driver’s license
- Self-starter with the ability to lead initiatives independently
Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field OR 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience leading marketing strategy and campaigns
- Strong background in digital marketing and lead generation
- Experience managing websites
- Knowledge of construction, building materials, or related industries
