Blue Life Security is seeking dependable, professional individuals to join our Event Staff Team in the Cookeville, TN area.
POSITION: EVENT / SECURITY STAFF
Event / Security Staff help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, vendors, and event participants.
Assignments may include concerts, sporting events, festivals, community events, private functions, and other special events throughout the Cookeville area and surrounding communities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide a professional security presence at assigned events
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated event areas
- Assist with crowd management and maintaining orderly movement
- Conduct access control and credential verification when assigned
- Monitor for safety hazards and suspicious activity
- Assist guests with directions and general event information
- Respond appropriately to disturbances and other security concerns
- Report incidents and security concerns to supervisors
- Work closely with event management, venue personnel, law enforcement, and other security staff
- Follow all Blue Life Security policies, post orders, and supervisor instructions
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor throughout the assignment

Prior security, law enforcement, military, corrections, or emergency services experience is a plus — but not required for every assignment.

SCHEDULING

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
- Meet all applicable Tennessee requirements for the position and assignment
- Successfully complete the Blue Life Security hiring process
- Be able to pass required background and credentialing checks
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
- Successfully complete any training required for the assigned position
Additional licensing or training requirements may apply depending on the assignment.
