What You'll Do
As a Resident Assistant/Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate daily care while helping residents maintain their dignity, comfort, and independence.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with incontinence care and changing bed linens
- Accurately document resident care and services provided
- Follow individualized resident care plans
- Communicate effectively with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care
- Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Encourage resident engagement and participation in activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare or caregiving experience
- Successfully pass a criminal background screening
- Ability to work in a drug-free workplace
- Complete required dementia training if applicable
Preferred
- CNA or Nursing Assistant certification in good standing (if applicable)
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience with electronic resident documentation systems
