General Job Description
Safety Test Tool Service Center provides set-up and assembly of new tools, as well as; service, repair and testing of in-use equipment from the field. The Tool Repair Technician will be expected to assemble tools and build cable assemblies, as well as clean and repair cable/fiberglass.
Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor inventories

Manage and prioritize daily workflow

Repair customer tools in a timely basis

Build cable assemblies as specified

Complete work orders as specified

Complete work as stated by customers

Operate an industrial fork truck

Maintain organization and cleanliness of shop
Skills & Abilities

Ability to fully understand and follow oral and written instructions

Ability to communicate effectively

Good mechanical aptitude; basic computing skills

Capable of cleaning and repairing both cable/fiberglass

Ability to operate basic office equipment (printer, computer, copy machine, telephone system)

Skilled in reading tool breakdowns and manuals

Ability to maintain a high attention to detail

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and possess a team-oriented mentality
Education

High School Diploma or equivalency
