SPAAN Tech is seeking a strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and drive fiscal excellence across the organization. Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and Cost Accounting Standards
- Oversee budgeting processes, forecast development, and variance analysis to inform strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Manage all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and cash flow analysis.
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret financial data for executive leadership, and support decision-making related to profit & loss optimization and financial concepts.
- Oversee internal controls related to account analysis, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and audit processes to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts in financial software utilization, automation of routine tasks, and adoption of best practices in technical accounting.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or senior finance professional with extensive knowledge of GAAP
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance functions such as strategic planning, and cost management.
- Strong background in governmental accounting practices and compliance management within regulated environments.
- Skilled in risk analysis, risk management strategies, budget development, forecasting techniques, and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing finance teams or cross-functional projects involving financial report writing and interpretation.
- Proficiency in financial software systems along with a solid understanding of general ledger accounting, account reconciliation processes, and bookkeeping principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with a high level of financial acumen to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights for organizational growth. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with Audit/ Public Accounting
- 10+ Years Experience in the Private Sector
- Experience with Yardi or Deltek
Pay: $90,215.09 - $100,000.00 per year
