Job Overview
As a Terminal Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a small transportation terminal and distribution center, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in both roles.
Duties
- Manage terminal operations including over seeing loading and unloading of trucks.
-Must be able to drive a Forklift.
- Coordinate sourcing activities to optimize inventory levels
- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance terminal performance
- Oversee mechanical aspects of terminal equipment and vehicles
- Lead vendor management activities to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness
Requirements
- Proven experience in management within a terminal or logistics environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Mechanical knowledge for maintenance oversight of terminal equipment
- Ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
- MUST POSESS CLASS A CDL WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD FOR FILL IN DRIVER WHEN NEEDED.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
