Established (40+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Litigation Associate for Complex Commercial Litigation in Austin, Texas
An established firm based in Austin, Texas with over 40+ years in practice is seeking a Litigation Associate with 5-7 years of experience to join their team. This Litigation Associate will have experience with complex commercial litigation, including high-stakes business disputes and, ideally, construction-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.

Salary range: $180,000-$225,000+ contingent on experience

Qualifications:
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
5-7 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters
Experience managing cases from inception through resolution including discovery and motion practice
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to take depositions and participate in court appearances
Construction litigation experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
Handle all phases of complex commercial litigation including pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other legal documents in state and federal courts
Conduct depositions and manage expert witnesses
Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategy and case development
Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
Maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality legal work
