We’re currently seeking an experienced Marine Upholsterer to help us build and scale a high-performing manufacturing operation from the ground up.
The Marine Upholsterer will play a crucial role in creating and installing the high-quality interior components of our pontoon boats, primarily focusing on marine-grade vinyl wrapping seat bases and other soft goods. Working as part of a dynamic manufacturing team, this individual will be responsible for cutting, adhering, and upholstering materials to meet Flamingo Marine's rigorous standards for craftsmanship, comfort, and performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and skilled individual to contribute to a growing company and help shape the future of the marine industry.

Cut, glue, and fabricate marinegrade vinyl, foam, and other materials to wrap boat seat bases and panels according to design specifications and patterns.

Install finished upholstered components onto boat structures, ensuring a secure, wrinklefree, and aesthetically pleasing fit.

Executes the production schedule and work instructions related to soft goods production.

Operate foam cutters and other upholstery tools safely and efficiently.

Inspect materials and finished products for quality, ensuring all seams, stitching, and finishing details meet company standards.

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment, specifically managing fabric and material waste.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and to optimize upholstery processes.

Report any issues, defects, or safety concerns to team leads.

Leverage MES to maintain accurate production records and material usage.

Perform other duties as assigned by the production manager or team lead.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Previous experience in marine, automotive, or furniture upholstery is required.

Proven proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines (single and double needle) and using upholstery tools.

Ability to read and interpret patterns, blueprints, and technical work instructions.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to highquality craftsmanship.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and problemsolving skills.

Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and take direction.
