Job Summary
Trunorth Mechanical is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC mechanical projects throughout North Carolina. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from turnover through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
Job Responsibilities
· Manage HVAC mechanical projects from contract award through final closeout.
· Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
· Coordinate with estimators, field superintendents, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
· Review project contracts, drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
· Lead project turnover and scope review meetings.
· Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
· Monitor project costs, productivity, labor, and material procurement.
· Conduct jobsite visits to support field operations and resolve issues.
· Communicate regularly with general contractors, owners, architects, and internal teams.
· Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and customer expectations.
· Support billing, collections, and project closeout documentation.
· Recruit as needed for our growing team.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required; construction-related degree preferred.
· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout North Carolina.
· Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and mechanical construction.
· Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
· Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills.
· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
Preferred Qualifications
· 5+ years of commercial HVAC project management experience.
· Experience managing multifamily new construction projects.
· Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and change management.
· Experience working directly with general contractors and developers.

Schedule
· Full Time
· Monday Through Friday, with weekends as needed

· Remote, but with job site visits as needed.
