Boston Rehabilitation Center/Shore Point Recovery is a premier behavioral health facility dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate, individualized care. Our Wareham facility is a detox and residential treatment center, providing 24/7 support for individuals recovering from substance use disorders.
Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (Recovery Specialists) to provide direct support to clients in our detox and residential level of care. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a structured and supportive environment, assisting clients through their recovery journey, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
We're currently only hiring FULL-TIME, OVERNIGHT & DAYTIME positions with 12-hour shifts (8pm-8am or 8am-8pm).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support clients in their daily activities, ensuring adherence to program guidelines.
- Conduct routine client wellness checks and monitor for any behavioral or medical concerns.
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
- Transport clients to and from appointments or off-site activities as required.
- Document client interactions, progress, and incidents accurately in electronic records.
- Facilitate group discussions and encourage client engagement in the recovery process.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility policies.
- Communicate effectively with clinical and medical teams to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications
- Experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health settings preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support clients through recovery.
- Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
