Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-volume Level I Trauma hospital in North Dakota. The ideal candidate will have strong circulating experience across multiple surgical specialties and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment. This position offers consistent weekday hours with no weekend or on-call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Circulate during a variety of surgical cases while maintaining patient safety and sterile technique.
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields throughout procedures.
- Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and catheter insertion as required.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot operating room equipment and surgical instruments.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and perioperative staff.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR.
- Follow AORN standards, infection prevention protocols, and hospital policies.
- Float to affiliated campuses when needed (rare).
Minimum Qualifications
- Active North Dakota RN License or Compact RN License.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Experience in a 250+ bed Level I Trauma Hospital.
- Experience in an acute care hospital with 15 or more Operating Room suites.
- Strong circulating experience in multiple surgical specialties.

- DaVinci Robotic Surgery experience.
