Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Middle School Mathematics Teacher to inspire and challenge students during this pivotal stage of their educational journey. Duties
- Design and deliver engaging lessons in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, and other mathematical disciplines tailored to middle school students’ developmental levels.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with educational standards while incorporating technology-enhanced learning tools.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations, and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to active participation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment methods to ensure cohesive educational experiences across grade levels.
- Integrate educational technology into lessons to enhance understanding of complex concepts such as differential equations, molecular biology applications, or genetics where appropriate.
- Support diverse learners by adapting teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and cultural backgrounds while ensuring compliance with educational regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in education are preferred.
- Proven experience teaching middle school students in a classroom setting with a strong emphasis on math instruction.
- Demonstrated knowledge of key mathematical areas including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, and their applications.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, instructional design, and assessment strategies aligned with educational standards.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and implementing differentiated instruction techniques.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in integrating learning technology and IT tools into lesson delivery for enhanced student engagement.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and experience preparing students for assessments.
- Background in science-related subjects such as biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, cell biology or laboratory experience is a plus for interdisciplinary approaches.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through research, mentoring, or participation in educational workshops focused on middle school teaching practices.

Pay: $46,955.75 - $56,548.86 per year
