We are currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join a respected hospital-based rehabilitation team providing both inpatient and outpatient services. Position Summary
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients to restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent or minimize long-term physical limitations. Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the PT provides evidence-based care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, illnesses, and chronic conditions across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients with orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical conditions.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, physician referrals, and patient goals.

Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, neuromuscular reeducation, and therapeutic modalities.

Educate patients and families regarding home exercise programs, injury prevention, safety awareness, and lifestyle modifications.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize functional outcomes.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state licensure requirements, accreditation standards, and professional best practices.
Qualifications
Required
-
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Current and active state Physical Therapy license.

Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred

Experience in an outpatient orthopedic, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or hospital-based setting.

Strong manual therapy skills and experience treating a variety of patient populations.
