We’re looking for a dependable, customer-focused individual to join our Gift Shop team! If you enjoy working with people, are comfortable using computers, and have a passion for animals, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to every guest.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process transactions accurately.
- Assist guests with purchases, admissions, and general park information.
- Answer phones and respond professionally to guest inquiries.
- Restock merchandise and maintain clean, organized displays.
- Help keep the gift shop clean, inviting, and well-stocked.
- Work as part of a team while following directions and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Must love animals and enjoy working in a zoo environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
What We’re Looking For:We’re seeking someone who is friendly, professional, dependable, and takes pride in creating an exceptional guest experience. Weekend and holiday availability is required, as these are some of our busiest days.
