Are you passionate about nurturing young minds during their most critical years of development? We're looking for a warm, attentive, and dedicated Infant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team and make a lasting impact in the lives of children ages 0–24 months.
What You’ll Do:
- Create a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers
- Foster social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth through intentional play and caregiving
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and team members
- Maintain open communication with families about daily routines, milestones, and progress
- Observe and document each child’s development to tailor individualized care and learning experiences
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine love for working with infants and toddlers
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Knowledge of early childhood development and responsive caregiving
- Previous experience in a licensed child care setting preferred
- CDA, Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or relevant coursework (or willingness to obtain)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS…
- Must have 12 core semester units in ECE/development semester units to include a minimum of 3 units focused on infant/toddler development .
- Must have 6 months experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare program.
- California Child Development Teacher Permit, or higher-level permit.

- Job Title: Infant Teacher
- Location: WINGS Infant Center, Santa Maria, CA
- Reports To WINGS Site DirectorDirector/Assistant Director
- Compensation: $21-24/hour (based on Experience and Education)
- Job Classification: Full-time Employee, Non-Exempt
- Requirements: Criminal Background Fingerprint Clearance required, Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification (within 2 years), Physical, Tuberculosis Clearance, TDAP vaccine, MMR vaccine, Influenza vaccine (or waiver)
- Two years’ experience providing instruction to children in an early childhood setting is preferred.
