Job Summary:
As Maintenance Technician you will have a crucial role in developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our facility and production equipment. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, controls, and inter-office skills will be applied to ensure flawless operation of our manufacturing facility. Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulations, site and industry standards, including ISO9001, Cal OSHA, safety procedures.
- Identify and correct any unsafe conditions related to mechanical and electrical safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair all facility and production equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
- Lead preventative maintenance program, including task completion, reporting, improvement recommendations
- Assist in updating equipment-related SOPs to ensure accuracy.
- Provide training to production teams to ensure equipment is operated and maintained appropriately.
- Recommend and implement equipment design and process improvements.
- Propose and Implement test methods to ensure quality and performance.
- Demonstrates integrity and strong ethical behavior in all situations
Daily Requirements:
- Perform prompt facility and equipment maintenance as needed.
- Identify, correct and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues or acquire outsourced assistance.
- Adherence to priorities, provide good communication on status, ask for assistance when required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Strong mechanical skills for disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of automated production equipment.
- Proficiency in electrical, electronics, and controls technologies used in industrial production equipment.
- Troubleshooting skills for automated equipment, electronics, sensors, motors, servos, and pneumatics.
- Strong computer and automated equipment skills
- Knowledge of equipment design, specifications, fabrication, installation, and validation.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, electrical systems, and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of general construction, repair, and maintenance practices in a commercial environment.
Communication and Physical Requirements:
- Communication Requirements: Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company. Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 75 lbs. Ability to stand and work with tools for 3-4 hours at a time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Educational, Certificates and License Requirements:
Associate’s degree or certificate education in Engineering, Electronics, Packaging, Mechanics, or a related field, or equivalent experience Preferred.Minimum of three years’ applicable work experience.

The noise level in the work environment is medium, and time spent on the shop floor or designated shop area will be subject to standard noise levels in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
